The following teens are in the running for an Inspiring Teens Scholarship!
Vote for Ashlyn Robinson | Official Icon & Scholarship Recipient for Issue 102 ITM Challenge!
Ashlyn Robinson - Pennsylvania
Nomination & Photography by Albright Studio Photography
In her mom's words: "Winning this scholarship would mean the world to Ashlyn and validate all of the hard work and dedication she has put into both softball and being a first responder over the years." - Kelle
Nomination: Ashlyn is a senior at Williamsport Area High School with many accomplishments. She is a volunteer firefighter, a Nationally Registered EMT, the first team ALL-STATE first baseman, starting pitcher for her high school softball team, and an active member of her Church. While just being honored for her 100th career hit, Ashlyn also assists in coaching the middle school's softball team. Her whole life is not about softball though, through all her activities Ashlyn maintains academic honor roll and is a member of National Honor Society. She is a student ambassador and placed 1st in the Skills USA Emergency Medical Technician division, along with being the Student Advisor for the Homeland Security CTE program at Williamsport. She also has been working with Homeland Security Juniors, sharing her knowledge and experiences so they can be successful for when they take their EMT test. She works hard to inspire younger generations of softball players and first responders. She is a well rounded girl willing to put in what it takes to succeed.
What inspiring qualities, achievements, or experiences about you were not mentioned in your nomination that you’d like readers to know about?
I’m a hardworking and passionate individual who puts my full effort into everything I do. In softball, I’ve spent countless hours training to improve my skills and become the best player I can be. I also coach pitching and hitting, building strong connections with younger athletes over the past three years. I bring the same dedication to being a first responder, training regularly and gaining experience with local ambulance companies while volunteering at community events like the Little League World Series and the Hughesville Carnival.
What goals, dreams, or projects are you currently working toward right now?
Last year, I was named 1st Team All-State First Baseman in 6A, achieving a goal I set at the start of the season. My high school honored me by displaying my photo in the commons. This year, I aim to build on that success and continue working hard for those who support me. Beyond softball, my goal is to become a certified firefighter-paramedic and serve my community. After gaining experience, I hope to return to teaching and inspire others in a career I’m passionate about.
What is something you feel passionate about or could talk about for hours, and why does it matter so much to you?
One topic I could talk about for hours is my work as an EMT. I’ve learned anatomy and physiology, basic pharmacology, treatments, and how the body responds. There’s so much the human body can do that I never realized before my training. You could say I’m a bit of a nerd for it! Understanding how the body functions is incredibly important, and it’s helped me treat patients more effectively while motivating me to keep learning and exploring new topics.
What is something you have learned about yourself as a leader or person in the past year?
People look up to you for being yourself, not someone you’re not. I admire individuals whose personalities shine and who embrace who they are without apology. Over the past year, I’ve grown into that kind of person—someone who stays authentic in any situation. Remaining calm, confident, and true to myself, especially in leadership roles, builds trust with others who are looking for someone to follow and believe in.
What is one of your favorite memories with the person who nominated you, or something about them that means a lot to you?
The person who nominated me is so friendly and is always outgoing with what they do. She has such a kind heart, and even though we are opposites, she always puts a smile on others' faces! No matter what mood I am in, what kind of day I am having, seeing her always puts a little sunshine into my day.
Tell us about the photographer or person who took your photo — how did you connect, and what was that experience like?
The photographer who took my photo is a very outgoing person and is highly extroverted. They always have so many great ideas for different photo opportunities and what will make me look my best. I feel like we really connected during my senior photos. I’m not much of a photo-person myself, but they helped me come out of my shell to make the session memorable! They have also always rooted for me in my extracurricular activities and have been a big part of my childhood.
How did you first hear about Inspiring Teens Magazine? Why does being part of Inspiring Teens Magazine matter to you?
I first heard of Inspiring Teens Magazine when a local athlete was nominated and shared her voting links on social media. Seeing her recognition inspired me and made me realize how meaningful it is to be celebrated for your hard work. Being part of this magazine motivates me to continue growing as both an athlete and a person. It shows that working hard and staying humble can earn you the spotlight you deserve. Even if you haven’t found your spotlight yet, you shouldn’t give up—there are people who care about your dreams and accomplishments just as much as you do!
If you win a scholarship through Inspiring Teens Magazine, how would you plan to use it and what goals would it help support?
I would use it to pay for my education that will help me work towards my dreams. After high school, I plan on attending Pennsylvania College of Technology and major in Emergency Management & Homeland Security. I also plan on attending the college’s paramedic program after earning my Bachelor’s Degree. This will help me pay for meal plans, textbooks, supplies, and tuition.

Vote for Kallee Johnson | Official Scholarship Recipient for Issue 102 ITM Challenge!
Kallee Johnson - Pennsylvania
Nomination & Photography by Albright Studio Photography
The scholarship would mean the world to Kallee as she embarks on this next chapter of her life. She’s ready to start forging her own path. This support and encouragement would be a great foundation for her and build her confidence. She’s so excited to be a part of this and we are so proud of her. – Joy Johnson, Kallee’s mom
Nomination: Kallee is one of the sweetest girls you could meet. She attends St. John Neumann where she takes pride in her faith and academics. For her senior project, she organized a volleyball tournament with Hope Enterprises. This allowed individuals with special needs to participate in a day of fun volleyball games in a positive environment. Kallee also takes pride in her athletics, as she is a member of the varsity basketball team. Kallee is a family oriented, inspiring young woman for many younger girls to look up to.
What inspiring qualities, achievements, or experiences about you were not mentioned in your nomination that you’d like readers to know about?
During my freshman year of high school after dealing with severe migraines for years the doctors found a large cyst on my brain. This left me absent from school and sports. Being sidelined left me feeling isolated and struggling with depression. I had to face challenges I could not control and learn how to rebuild myself mentally. Over time, I found strength in pushing forward, even on the hardest days. That experience taught me resilience and the importance of mental health is something I believe all teens should understand. It's okay to struggle, but it's just as important to keep going.
What goals, dreams, or projects are you currently working toward right now?
As of right now I plan to to attend the University of Delaware and major in sports management. As a female athlete I experienced first hand how under appreciated female sports are. I hope to promote and strive for equality to mens sports as I work toward a career in the industry.
What is something you feel passionate about or could talk about for hours, and why does it matter so much to you?
I could sit and talk about music for hours. The way music can make you feel and control your emotions is so powerful. I grew up in a household with a father who is an artist and his passion influenced me and all of my siblings. It not only brings us together but people all over the world. Music is a true universal language.
What is something you have learned about yourself as a leader or person in the past year?
I was appointed captain of my basketball team this year and being a member of my schools varsity basketball team since I was I was a freshman gave me time to learn from my upperclassmen teammates. Leadership isn't about being the loudest or the best player, it's about being consistent, supportive, and accountable. I learned that people watch what you do more than what you say, and your attitude can shape an entire team. As a person, I had to learn to be strong and more patient, especially in tough moments. Leadership pushed me to grow, not just for myself, but for everyone around me and that's something I'll carry with me beyond basketball.
What is one of your favorite memories with the person who nominated you, or something about them that means a lot to you?
I met Maddy my eighth grade year and her junior, she and I bonded over our love for Celsius energy drinks and quickly became friends. Maddy has always been a role model for me. The way she always is her authentic self and the confidence she always walks around with is something so admirable.
Tell us about the photographer or person who took your photo — how did you connect, and what was that experience like?
My friend Maddy who nominated me is a part of her families photography business, Albright Studios. They have taken all my school photos, sports photos, and fun shoots I got to do with Maddy. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to take my senior photos. Their dedication, passion for photography, and attention to detail made the shoots so meaningful.
How did you first hear about Inspiring Teens Magazine? Why does being part of Inspiring Teens Magazine matter to you?
I first heard about Inspiring Teens Magazine through social media while looking for opportunities that highlight teen voices and real stories. Being a part of it matters to me because it gives teens a platform to be seen and heard for who they truly are, not just for achievements but for their journeys. I faced challenges that shaped who I am, and being a part of something that celebrates resilience, growth, and authenticity is really meaningful to me.
If you win a scholarship through Inspiring Teens Magazine, how would you plan to use it and what goals would it help support?
If I were to receive this scholarship, I would use it to support my college education and continue perusing my goals of making a positive impacts in my community. It would help cover expenses like tuition, books, and opportunities that allow me to grow academically and personally.

Vote for Alina Carson | Official Scholarship Recipient for Issue 102 ITM Challenge!
Alina Carson - Pennsylvania
Nomination by Hayle Carson
Photography by Jennifer Miles/Milestone images
Nomination: Alina Carson is a dedicated and driven teen who stands out through her commitment to dance, academics, and her community. She consistently pushes herself to grow, showing resilience, discipline, and passion in everything she does. Alina is not only hardworking but also a kind and supportive friend, always uplifting those around her. Through her involvement in activities and service, she demonstrates leadership and a genuine desire to make a positive impact. Her strong character and determination make her an inspiring role model for others her age.
What inspiring qualities, achievements, or experiences about you were not mentioned in your nomination that you’d like readers to know about?
One thing not fully captured in my nomination is how I support others behind the scenes. Whether it’s encouraging teammates in dance, helping younger students find confidence, or volunteering in my community, I try to lead with kindness and consistency. I’ve learned that small actions—showing up, listening, and lifting others up—can make a lasting impact. I take pride in being someone people can rely on, even when no one is watching.
What goals, dreams, or projects are you currently working toward right now?
Right now, I’m working toward continuing my education while staying involved in dance and service. I hope to grow as both a performer and a leader, using my passion to inspire others. I’m also focused on giving back more through community service and mentorship, especially to younger dancers. Long term, I want to build a future where I can combine my passions with helping others.
What is something you feel passionate about or could talk about for hours, and why does it matter so much to you?
I’m most passionate about dance because it has shaped who I am. It’s more than movement—it’s discipline, expression, and growth. Dance has taught me how to push through challenges, stay committed, and believe in myself. I could talk about it for hours because it’s where I feel most confident and connected. It matters to me because it’s helped me grow not just as a dancer, but as a person.
What is one dance experience that you will never forget - hit highest on the happy scale, still makes you smile when you think about it today?
One dance experience that I will never forget is winning an award in the Distinguished Young Woman Program. This program has taught me to get out of my comfort zone and realize to not take everything so serious.
Sent from my iPhone
What is something you have learned about yourself as a leader or person in the past year?
This past year, I’ve learned that leadership isn’t about being in charge—it’s about setting an example and supporting others. I’ve grown more confident in using my voice, but also in listening and understanding different perspectives. I’ve realized that I lead best by staying positive, working hard, and encouraging those around me. This has helped me become a stronger, more thoughtful leader and person.
What is one of your favorite memories with the person who nominated you, or something about them that means a lot to you?
One of my favorite memories is when they took the time to truly listen to me during a stressful time and reminded me of my potential when I was doubting myself. It wasn’t just what they said, but how much they believed in me that stuck with me. They’ve always been someone who pushes me to be better while supporting me no matter what, and that means everything to me.
Tell us about the photographer or person who took your photo — how did you connect, and what was that experience like?
I connected with the photographer through this opportunity, and the experience was really positive. They made me feel comfortable and confident, which allowed me to be myself in front of the camera. It didn’t feel forced—it felt natural and encouraging. I appreciated how they took the time to understand who I am, and that made the experience even more meaningful.
How did you first hear about Inspiring Teens Magazine? Why does being part of Inspiring Teens Magazine matter to you?
I first heard about Inspiring Teens Magazine through my nomination, and it immediately stood out to me because it highlights young people making a difference. Being part of something like this matters to me because it’s not just about recognition—it’s about inspiring others and showing that hard work, passion, and kindness don’t go unnoticed. It’s an opportunity to be part of something bigger than myself.
If you win a scholarship through Inspiring Teens Magazine, how would you plan to use it and what goals would it help support?
If I were to receive this scholarship, I would use it to support my education and continue pursuing my passions, especially in dance and community involvement. It would help relieve financial stress and allow me to focus more on growing, learning, and giving back. This support would bring me closer to my goals and help me continue making a positive impact in my community.

Vote for Ayla Hatfield | Official Icon & Scholarship Recipient for Issue 102 ITM Challenge!
Ayla Hatfield - Indiana
Nomination & Photography by April Moore Creations LLC
In her mom's words: "Winning a scholarship would be such a highlight for Ayla. She is passionate about her future and what her future looks like. She is ready to take on the challenges and prepared to dive in pursuing her career as a veterinarian. College is not only challenging mentally but can also be financially, so winning a scholarship would not only help with that burden but also be such a reward." - Andrea
Nomination: Ayla Hatfield has maintained a 3.89 GPA while balancing part-time work and dual credit honors classes, demonstrating consistent discipline and drive. Through college-level coursework, including equine veterinary science, Ayla is already building the foundation for her future at Purdue University, where she plans to pursue veterinary science with focus and determination.
What inspiring qualities, achievements, or experiences about you were not mentioned in your nomination that you’d like readers to know about?
I have been a member of 4H for the past 8 years. I have done pigs all 8 of those years following in my dad’s steps. I have done dairy heifers for 3 years to get out of my comfort zone and try something new.
What goals, dreams, or projects are you currently working toward right now?
I am currently working toward becoming a livestock veterinarian. My passion for animals has grown ever since I was a little kid. I want to be able to help as many fam animals I can. I’m currently in FFA doing veterinary science and next year will be pursuing animal science through the school and doing an online course this summer to better understand horse’s behaviors and the best way to train each horse.
What is something you feel passionate about or could talk about for hours, and why does it matter so much to you?
I feel really passionate about all the animals I have ever owned, especially all of my pigs. In the past 8 years every batch of pigs I’ve gotten had shown me different challenges to overcome. They have all made me a better person by showing me that you have to work harder than expected to see the results you want.
What is something you have learned about yourself as a leader or person in the past year?
I have learned to lead with my mind and emotions over a physical emotion. This would be pertaining to a sport that I used to play and realized that it no longer benefited me to become the person I wanted to become.
What is one of your favorite memories with the person who nominated you, or something about them that means a lot to you?
April used comedy to help me keep my natural smile when I was really cold and struggling to stay warm.
Tell us about the photographer or person who took your photo — how did you connect, and what was that experience like?
Our session was during a cold wintery day and she knew how to keep me smiling and keep me focused on my pictures.
How did you first hear about Inspiring Teens Magazine? Why does being part of Inspiring Teens Magazine matter to you?
I first heard about Inspiring Teens Magazine from April Moore, my photographer. I enjoy reading the bios and stories about other people and seeing what inspires them.
If you win a scholarship through Inspiring Teens Magazine, how would you plan to use it and what goals would it help support?
I would use the scholarship to help pay for my college tuition and help me pursue my dream of becoming a livestock veterinarian.

Vote for Kaetlyn Carnley | Official Scholarship Contender for Issue 102 ITM Challenge!
Kaetlyn Carnley – Tennessee
Nomination & Photography by Ashlea Brooke Photography
Nomination: Kate is the definition of joyful and involved, shining through three years of varsity cheer and her senior year on the LFO Dance Team. A leader in FCA, she shares devotions and encourages others in their faith while also expressing her creativity through art and painting. Kate plans to attend Tennessee Wesleyan University to pursue a career as an Occupational Therapist. She loves all things pink, listens to Morgan Wallen on repeat, and proudly cheers on the Tennessee Vols. Bubbly, bright, and kindhearted, Kate is truly beautiful inside and out.
What other inspiring qualities, achievements, or experiences about you, not mentioned in your nomination, would you like readers to know about?
I am extremely hard-working, maintaining a 3.9 GPA throughout high school, as well as obtaining her Patient Care Tech, Medical Assistant, and Phlebotomist certifications.
What goals, dreams, or projects are you currently working toward right now?
My dream is to work as an Occupational Therapist. To do this, I am attending Tennessee Wesleyan University and majoring in OT while continuing my 14 year cheerleading career.
What could talk about for hours, and why does it matter so much to you?
I could talk about how much it means to keep going. I started high school after moving away from my hometown and everything that was familiar to me, and along the way, I have experienced, loss, grief, injury, stress, burn out, and so much more. As graduation creeps closer I look back at those experiences and know how worth it, it truly is to make it to this point, because unfortunately some people don’t. That’s why I encourage anyone out there struggling with anything to pray and trust God’s plans for your life.
What is something you have learned about yourself as a leader or influencer in the past year?
I have learned that sometimes things will not go the way you plan them to, people will try to stand in the way, make up rumors, whatever the case may be. However, those people have taught me to reflect on the mission of what I am trying to accomplish and know I am doing to inspire someone else.
What is one of your favorite memories with the person who nominated you, or something about them that means a lot to you?
My favorite memory is when I was so upset about my boyfriend leaving for army basic training and so I had this crazy idea to honor him in my photos and instead of judging me, she shared what it was like being in a military family, and it became something we bonded over and I felt as though I could truly go to Ashlea for anything!
Tell us about the person who took your photo — how did you connect, and what was that experience like?
Ashlea is the most personable person ever. She will make you feel so beautiful, and she is so appreciative of everyone she works with. She is also so willing to be spontaneous and make all out visions happen, she is truly one of the best photographers I have ever worked with!
How did you first hear about Inspiring Teens Magazine? Why does being part of Inspiring Teens Magazine matter to you?
I heard about it when I saw the email in my inbox and did more research into the organization! Being part of this would mean the world to me, I have a very lengthy and complicated testimony, but this would help give me peace of mind that all of my hard work can inspire someone else to do the same!
How will winning a scholarship through Inspiring Teens Magazine help you?
The scholarship will help me with college funds and helping pay some upcoming student loans! I would be so honored to win!

What other inspiring qualities, achievements, or experiences about you, not mentioned in your nomination, would you like readers to know about?
One thing about me is, I like making a difference. No matter how big or small, doing something for the good, is bigger than man kind itself. I find joy in everything and that's the biggest life lesson I've taught myself.

What could talk about for hours, and why does it matter so much to you?
One thing I could talk about is the power or friendship. The reason this matters to me is because of how much I cherish my own friends and all the things they have done for me. With the power of friendship, it gives you the strength to do anything you put your mind too. Knowing you have someone that has your back, pushes you to do anything beyond your limits and that is why I love it so much.
What is something you have learned about yourself as a leader or influencer in the past year?
Over the past year, I have learned about taking action and reaching out. I have learned that by taking action, I can become a big influence to others and encourage them to do so as well. No only is it a big encouragement but it builds confidence in myself, and allowing me to build my publication skills, in a positive manner.
What is one of your favorite memories with the person who nominated you, or something about them that means a lot to you?
One of my favorite memories was being on her senior rep team. When I first joined, I was scared of how everything would go and whether or not I would have fun. Now that that time has come to an end, I can proudly say every shoot I had with Cassidy is always my best memories. She allowed me to create a bond with 12 other girls and herself as well. It is something I will forever cherish.

The way I first heard about ITM, was thought my photographer. She has had her pictures published by you in the past, and I've always thought it was so cool to be in a magazine. Being apart of ITM is important to me because, I want to show others that no matter your looks, no matter your size, no matter what fears or insecurities you have anything is possible.
How will winning a scholarship through Inspiring Teens Magazine help you?
Growing up in a small town with a population of less than 3,000 people, there isn't many opportunities. Jobs are harder to find, and in this economy nothing is cheap. What is something you have learned about yourself as a leader or influencer in the past year?
Hard Work and Sacrifice
• Effort Required: Success in any area—be it personal, academic, or career-related—often demands hard work. This may involve long hours, challenging tasks, or stepping out of your comfort zone.
• Making Sacrifices: You might need to give up certain comforts or leisure activities to focus on your goals, whether that’s studying for exams, training for a competition, or working extra hours.
Long-Term Rewards
• Delayed Gratification: The “good things” often refer to the benefits that come from hard work, such as achieving your dreams, gaining new skills, or building strong relationships. These rewards may not be immediate.

Vote for Sydney Ksenak | Official Scholarship Contender for Issue 102 ITM Challenge!
Sydney Ksenak – Indiana
Nomination & Photography by @mitbykimberly
Nomination: Sydney Ksenak is inspiring because she leads with kindness and heart. She is sweet to everyone and has quickly won over my entire teen team. Sydney makes sure no one is left out, showing a level of awareness beyond her years. She is bright, hardworking, and always gives her best effort. She loves her sister and treasures her friendships deeply. Outside of the team, Sydney takes dance classes at Elite, plays violin, and enjoys reading and arts and crafts. She values time with her family. As the youngest member, she is stepping forward with strength, and I am ecstatic to watch her confidence shine.
What other inspiring qualities, achievements, or experiences about you, not mentioned in your nomination, would you like readers to know about?
One of my favorite things is being creative through dance, music, reading, and arts and crafts. These activities help me express myself and build confidence. I also love spending time with my family and making memories with the people who matter most to me.
What goals, dreams, or projects are you currently working toward right now?
Right now, I am focused on doing my best in school, growing my confidence, and continuing to learn new things. I was proud to pass the IREAD assessment as a second grader, and I enjoy reading and challenging myself academically.
I also love dance and violin because they help me build creativity, discipline, and teamwork. One of my biggest goals is to continue being kind to others and making sure everyone feels included. Even though I am still discovering what I want for my future, I hope to continue working hard and helping others.

A member of the Martinsville High School dance team, football manager, and supporter of the unified track team, she meets every call with readiness and heart. As my longest running influencer since fifth grade, Class of 2029, I’ve watched her confidence bloom. Averie leads behind the scenes, lifting others into connection, courage, and voice with effortless grace.
What other inspiring qualities, achievements, or experiences about you, not mentioned in your nomination, would you like readers to know about?

Family, especially my grandpa who just passed away and my nephew who is currently fighting Neuroblastoma, a form of childhood cancer.

What is one of your favorite memories with the person who nominated you, or something about them that means a lot to you?
My favorite memories with Kim is how we always take a selfie after every photoshoot. Kim has brought out a different person in me and has really helped my open up and become a better model and influencer.
Tell us about the person who took your photo — how did you connect, and what was that experience like?
When I joined the team I was the youngest influencer that she had so far but she treated me like one of the older girls and taught me that age is just a number and beauty is more than what you see in the camera.

I first heard about Inspiring Team Magazine when my photographer surprised me and told me I was being published. It was such an inspiring and exciting moment for me.

Vote for Addison Utting | Official Icon & Scholarship Recipient for Issue 102 ITM Challenge!
Addison Utting
Nomination & Photography by Jen Welker Photography
Nomination: I am proud to nominate Addison Utting, a remarkable high school senior, whose compassion, work ethic, and commitment to others truly set her apart. She generously gives her time volunteering through local churches, working with individuals with special needs, and a German Shepherd dog rescue—causes that reflect her empathy and sense of responsibility to her community. In addition to her service, she is a student‑athlete who understands perseverance and teamwork. She also maintains a part‑time job, demonstrating reliability and strong time‑management skills. She approaches every commitment with kindness and determination, making a meaningful difference in her school and community.
What other inspiring qualities, achievements, or experiences about you, not mentioned in your nomination, would you like readers to know about?
I am a hard worker- I work for everything I’ve achieved
I care a lot about mental health
What goals, dreams, or projects are you currently working toward right now?
Currently, I am planning on going to the University of Arkansas to get my elementary education degree. My dream is to be a first grade teacher and work at one of the schools in Overland Park.
What could talk about for hours, and why does it matter so much to you?
I could probably talk about feelings and making sure everyone feels loved. Caring about people more than I care about myself. I think it’s so important to me because that’s what I would want people for me.
What is something you have learned about yourself as a leader or influencer in the past year?
I’m at my best when I slow down enough to actually see people, their effort, their hesitation, their potential and respond to that, not just to the task in front of us.
What is one of your favorite memories with the person who nominated you, or something about them that means a lot to you?
When I first met Jen, she made me feel confident, and I wasn’t uncomfortable at all. That means a lot to me because I would say I’m a quiet person if I’ve never met someone. It takes a lot for me to bring out my personality for the first time but it was not like that when I met her.
Tell us about the person who took your photo — how did you connect, and what was that experience like?
I met my photographer through that did theirs from her. My experience is great, she made me feel confident and wasn’t awkward at all. She let me do me and captured it beautifully.
How did you first hear about Inspiring Teens Magazine? Why does being part of Inspiring Teens Magazine matter to you?
I heard of inspiring teens magazine from Jen Welker. It captures beautiful photography of beautiful people.
How will winning a scholarship through Inspiring Teens Magazine help you?
College is expensive so I will be using this money towards that.
