Tell us about your cheer career.
I got started with cheerleading back in middle school and instantly fell in love with it. The energy, the teamwork, and the excitement of performing at games and competitions were just amazing. Over the years, I worked on perfecting my stunts, tumbling, and cheers. Right now, I am still involved with coaching and mentoring, helping new cheerleaders find their passion and confidence in the sport. It’s been an incredible journey, and I love being part of the cheer community!

What do you love most about the sport?
What I love most about cheerleading is the sense of teamwork and camaraderie. There's just something special about working together with your squad, pushing each other to be better, and celebrating every little victory. The adrenaline rush during performances is unmatched, and it feels amazing to see all your hard work pay off. Plus, the creativity in routines and the chance to express yourself through movement is so much fun! The memories made over the last several years are unforgettable!

What is your team like and what makes it so special to you?
My team is super close-knit and supportive! We really vibe well together, and everyone brings their own unique strengths to the table. What makes it special is how we all lift each other up, both on and off the mat. We’ve built a strong bond that goes beyond just cheerleading; we’re like a family. The memories we create during practices and competitions are priceless! I have cheered with most of these beautiful young women for so long now that they are more than teammates, they are sisters!

What skills did you need to be a two-time All-American cheerleader?
To be a two-time All-American cheerleader, I needed a mix of physical skills, mental toughness, and teamwork abilities. Here are some key skills: Athleticism, Technical Skills, Leadership and Communication, Performance Skills, Confidence and Stage Presence, and A Supportive Attitude and Cooperative Spirit. All these combined with a great attitude helped earn All American!

What is your favorite class this year and what is the most interesting thing you've learned?
This year I have two favorite classes! One class is college prep math, and the most interesting thing I’ve learned is probably how to solve complex equations or maybe some cool real-world applications of math. I love that math constantly pushes you to use your brain. My second favorite class this year has been instructional practice! The most interesting thing I've learned is probably how different teaching methods can really have an impact on student engagement and learning. It's fascinating to see how small changes can make a big difference. Working with the youth really empowers me.

What is the Interact Club and what are your responsibilities as a member?
The Interact Club is all about community service and making a difference! As a member my responsibilities usually include volunteering for projects and helping to raise awareness about various causes. It's a great way to connect with others and contribute positively! It brings me joy and a sense of accomplishment when I volunteer my time to help others and beautify my community.

What leadership opportunities have you had?
I've had some cool leadership opportunities! I've led group projects in school, organized events for clubs & cheer, and even helped mentor younger students. It’s been a great way to build skills and connect with others. I love getting out there with the younger generation and showing them my favorite cheers and sideline yells!

How would you describe yourself as a leader?
I’d say I’m a supportive and collaborative leader. I like to make sure everyone’s voice is heard and that we’re all working together towards a common goal. I pride myself on uplifting other young women and cheering them on to chase all of their dreams!

What has having such a large family taught you?
Having a large family has taught me a lot about patience, teamwork, and the importance of communication. It’s like having a built-in support system, and you learn to appreciate the little moments. I love that I have so many siblings that are all so different and important to me in their own ways. With five brothers and two sisters, there is never a dull moment. I know no matter what, I have the biggest support system.

What family memory will you never forget?
Going to the Frio River every summer holds all of my favorite memories! The fun times spent floating down the river and just hanging out with family make for some awesome moments. From the sun on your skin, playing family games while music plays in the background to eating big family dinners together after spending the evening dancing at Garner State Park. I cannot wait to continue that tradition with my own family one day.

What are you doing to prepare for your upcoming pageant?
I’m working on my confidence, stage presence, and practicing my walk! I have spent a large amount of time picking out all of the perfect outfits and getting my speech ready. My best friend and I practice different interview questions, so I am prepped and ready. It’s all about feeling prepared but having fun throughout the process!

How did you become interested in ultrasound technology?
I became interested in ultrasound technology two years ago when I went with my mom to find out the gender of my little brother. The joy and excitement of the entire experience had me in love! The fascinating ability to see inside the human body without any invasive procedures is so awesome. It's amazing how it can help diagnose and monitor various conditions. I want to be a part of an industry that brings so much joy and that help people with so many different aspects of the medical field.

What inspiring things about you does your nomination not cover?
Beyond what's mentioned, I'm always driven to support and uplift others. My creativity and problem-solving skills often help me find unique solutions to different challenges. I am a girl's girl who wants to always empower others to strive and be the best version of themselves.

What else would you like to talk about?
I really enjoy going to the lake and fishing; it's so relaxing and peaceful. Cooking with my mom is always a fun and bonding experience, and I love trying out new recipes together. I also help coach my little sister in volleyball, which is super rewarding and a great way to stay active. Listening to music is another passion of mine, and it makes all these activities even more enjoyable.

What do you feel passionate about or could talk about forever?
I could talk forever about music and traveling! With music, there’s just something magical about how it connects people. I love sharing playlists, discovering new artists, and discussing concerts. Music always brings a vibe! Traveling is something I can't wait to do when I finish school. Exploring new places, trying different foods, and experiencing diverse cultures just excites me. I cannot wait to discover hidden gems and meet new people along the way.

How did you find your photographer? What was your experience like? What did you love most?
A family friend had recommended her to us from a post she had seen on social media. The experience has been fantastic! They were professional, made me feel comfortable, and had a great eye for detail. What I loved most was how they captured candid moments that felt so genuine and natural. The photos turned out beautifully, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I love that we click so well.

Are you a part of a model team with your photographer, and if so, tell us about it.
I am a Senior Brand Representative for Ginny Clark Photography. My experience has been nothing short of amazing! I love that Ginny engages and collaborates with all the ideas I have. We get to travel to different areas to get the best photos and experiences along the way. She is so creative and allows me to throw in ideas as well. I take all I have done with her and turn around to show all my friends her work. It has been a fantastic experience with her!

What is a favorite memory with or thoughts of the person who nominated you?
One of my favorite memories with Ginny is how she always makes sure I feel like a shining star. We both share a deep love for God and always put Him above all else in our lives. Her constant support and encouragement have been a true blessing, and I’m grateful for the way she uplifts and inspires me.

Why do you want to be in Inspiring Teens Magazine?
I want to be in Inspiring Teens Magazine because it's an amazing platform that highlights young people making a difference. Being featured would allow me to share my story, inspire others, and connect with a community of like-minded individuals. I believe that everyone has the potential to make a positive impact, and I’d love to encourage others to pursue their passions and dreams. Plus, it would be a fantastic opportunity to showcase my achievements and experiences!

If you win a scholarship, what will you do with the money?
If I win a scholarship, I’ll use the money to further my education and pursue my dreams. It’ll help cover tuition, books, and other school-related expenses, easing the financial burden on my family. It’ll also allow me to focus more on my studies and extracurricular activities without worrying about costs. Ultimately, it’ll help me achieve my goals and make a positive impact while I pursue my degree in ultrasound technology.

Is there anyone you'd like to thank for helping you to get where you are today?
Definitely! I’d like to thank my mom for all her support and encouragement. She’s always been my biggest cheerleader! She has shown me that no matter what I put my heart to, with God, determination, and motivation, I can achieve anything I strive to accomplish. She has a powerful love for God, is so incredibly strong and I look up to her for all those things. I am so thankful to have her by my side.

If you had nothing to do and all day to do it, where would we find you?
You would find me in a hammock wrapped up in a fascinating book.

What is up next for you that you are super excited about?
I am super excited for a couple concerts I have coming up! Megan Moroney in May and Brandon Lake in July. I love music and how no matter the situation, you can find the right song to connect with.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to be where you are today?
The advice I would give if someone wanted to be where I am today is to stay curious, keep learning, and always be open to new experiences!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years/what are your plans?
In five years, I would love to have my own facility helping families share joy and excitement for their upcoming births. I want to continue growing my knowledge in the ultrasound tech community.

What is your favorite activity or pastime that was not in your nomination?
I really enjoy the calmness of the beach! I love to grab some paint, canvas, and a snack then hit the beach. Just sitting there admiring one of God’s creations and letting creativity take over.

3 Things on your bucket list
1. Go skydiving and feel that rush of adrenaline!
2. Go on a road trip across the country with no set destination.
3. Attend a major music festival and vibe out with some awesome live performances.

Who do you find inspiring?
I find people who are kind, resilient, and passionate about what they do to be really inspiring. My mom is one of those people. She has had her hardships but always showed resilience and preservation. I love how kindhearted and inspiring she is!

What about you inspires others/why do you think you are inspiring?
I believe my positivity, humor, and kindness is inspiring to others. I will always be there for you and push you to be the absolute best version of yourself.
