Charli Griffith – Pennsylvania

Nomination & Photography by McCartney Photography

.

Nomination: Charli was incredibly trusting throughout our photoshoot, even when the first attempt was interrupted by high winds and rain. Despite the challenging conditions, she remained positive and ready to go again. When we decided to take the shoot to another level by incorporating her grandfather’s truck, Charli embraced the idea with enthusiasm, allowing the photos to capture both her adventurous spirit and a deeper personal connection to the setting. Her openness and trust turned what could have been a setback into a unique and memorable experience.

What inspiring things about you does your nomination not cover?

Something about me that I think is inspiring is that I want to be a funeral director. I am going to coastal Carolina to major in sociology and after I plan to go to Pittsburgh mortuary institution to get my mortuary license. The funeral industry is a miss understood field and my goal is to make it easier grieving families and the public more educated.

What do you feel passionate about or could talk about forever?

I feel passionate about standing up for what I believe is right. If it’s media, my friends, or me I will always stand up for me or them. I have a friend who is in the lgbtq+ and gets bullied because of it. I always stand up for him and make sure he is treated right.

How did you find your photographer? What was your experience like? What did you love most?

I found my photographer through my mo, and she also took my brother senior photos. My experience was amazing, we had a little trouble with the weather but I loved it. My favorite part was our second round of photos being at my school and getting to show my photographer cool things on campus and my favorite areas.

What is a favorite memory with or thoughts of the person who nominated you?

My photographer nominated me and my favorite memory was taking photos outside and being thought how to pose and be confident.

Why do you want to be in Inspiring Teens Magazine?

I think it is an amazing opportunity to be in a magazine and I would grow so much confidence for it. Also the scholarship money would be great to go towards my college tuition.

If you win a scholarship, what will you do with the money?

The scholarship money would be great to go towards my college tuition.
