What inspiring things about you does your nomination not cover?
My nomination briefly mentions my service in my church but it is one of the biggest parts of my life. I am apart of the youth leadership ministry and we serve our parish in many different ways. This ranges from vacation bible school in the summer, to retreats and confirmation classes during the school year.
What else would you like to talk about?
Something else I would like to talk about is my role on the soccer team. I have been on varsity since my freshman year and since then I have slowly emerged from my shell and become a leader on my team. My teammates look up to me and come to me for help on the field and in the classroom.
What do you feel passionate about or could talk about forever?
I feel passionate about all the things and people I love. I enjoy talking about books, movie theory’s, God, and the future. My favorite thing is when the conversation flows perfectly and we just talk about anything and everything.
How did you find your photographer? What was your experience like? What did you love most?
I found Angie through a friend on her power team from last year. This experience has been incredibly fun and a good opportunity to become more comfortable in front of a camera.
What is a favorite memory with or thoughts of the person who nominated you?
I was nominated by my photographer and I think my favorite memory with her was my very recent senior shoot. It was so fun to go to all the different places and try new poses. I also enjoyed getting to know her better and laughing about silly stories together.
Why do you want to be in Inspiring Teens Magazine?
I want to be in Inspiring Teens Magazine to give other teens a positive role model. I want to spread a message about how perseverance is the best way to accomplish your goals.
If you win a scholarship, what will you do with the money?
If i win the scholarship the money will go towards my college tuition. I want to go to medical school in the future so I want to have as little student debt as possible.
