​The Nomination: Ella Beyer is a 17-year-old singer/songwriter who plays guitar and keys, as well as performs solo and with her band, Almost Famous. Ella gives back to the community as one of the only 40 SoCal high school students chosen for the Dragon Kim Foundation Fellowship. Through this, Ella and her partner created "Summer Serenade" where they visit people's houses and sing songs of hope (including Ella's originals) from front lawns. Ella also co-founded Fostering the Arts, a Performing Arts Camp for kids in the L.A. foster care system. She performs concerts for retirement and nursing homes and she has also volunteered with L.A. River Cleanup and the Los Angeles Food Bank. Ella attends California School of the Arts, where she has roles in the National Honor Society, the California Junior Scholarship Foundation, Fusion, the Musical Theater Conservatory, President’s Honor Roll, and serves as the Beatles Club President. She also composed the school jingle! She received the 2020 all-school Ambassador Award for embodying the 5 Pillars of Achievement and Character.

​The Nomination: Emelie Gast is a very engaged and motivated teen in different areas. Since she was a girl she started to sing and to play the piano. She was a member of the best choir of Germany in 2017 and she had several concerts every year. Beside this she likes to attend in the plays and musicals. Every part she did in the past was outstanding and with so much enthusiasm and engagement. While she was an exchange student in Aberdeen 2019/20 she passed the audition for the Show Choir, Acappella Choir, Fall Play, One-Act-Play and Spring Musical. Because of her attitude, her motivation and her positive personality she was awarded as student of the month in November 2019 from Forte International.
At the beginning of 2019 she was selected as president of our national student parliament. She had to lead the discussion and did some statements to the television. At the end of this school year she was awarded for her special engagement for her school. She is a wonderful teen!

​The Nomination: Anna Milligan is one of the most talented, determined, and focused senior girls I have had the opportunity to photograph! She has so many facets to her musical talent and shares her gift with the church while serving in the worship band. She had specific requests for her senior session to capture not only her praise music, but also her love for writing music, and the fun, punk and edgy side! What a gift it was for me to be serenaded by her beautiful voice while she sang her heart out during her session with me. Her beauty on the exterior is obvious, but she has a genuine heart for serving others and a perseverance that leaves you certain she will be successful in her chosen path.
