Maryland - The Impact Team
Erica Keysland Photography
September was childhood cancer awareness month, and our team chose to support childhood cancer through The Arms Wide Open Foundation and Dancehopecure because of the amazing work they do to bring childhood cancer to the forefront of people’s minds— and to support their mission “to fund less toxic therapies for children with cancer so they can have a better quality of life as they battle the disease and to give families hope by bridging the funding gap and making available potentially life-saving clinical trials that would otherwise not be available. “
For the month of September,
my teen ambassadors and senior influencers, led by Savannah Rabin, Abby Gertner, and Madison Lynch,
organized and put on a fashion show fundraiser, Volunteered at Curefest in DC by interviewing and photographing cancer patients and their families, and collecting shoes to be displayed at Curefest .. each pair of shoes representing a child who has lost their life to childhood cancer.

About Erica Land Photography:
I have been a professional portrait photographer for 15 years, and I specialize in teen and senior photography. I believe that every teen deserves a custom photo experience that preserves their moments in time, moments that are a true reflection of their heart, soul and passions. I believe that your photos should showcase your unique and authentic personalities while building your self-esteem and empowering you. I have both a teen and seniors only influencer team, which is a year long program dedicated to group photos, team building, and charitable events.
I am so honored and proud that my teen model ambassadors are part of inspiring teens “Inspire Team,” because being kind to others and finding ways to give back are my core values as a photographer.
“Beauty is not about having a pretty face. It’s about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart, and a pretty soul.”

For this month’s community service project, our team participated in our school system’s GIVE BACKpacks campaign by donating 17 backpacks filled with school supplies, including paper, pencils/pens, crayons/colored pencils, a glue stick, a binder, and more! These backpacks will be given to students in our community whose families struggle to afford basic necessities like school supplies. We believe all students should have the opportunity to thrive academically, and we are so happy to support our fellow students!”

For June, the girls attended a training and volunteered for “So what else “ So What Else's mission is to improve the lives of children and families living in underserved communities in the Baltimore-Washington Metro Area by providing food security, access to basic necessities, and high-quality out-of-school time programs in literacy, athletics, and the visual and performing arts while inspiring young people to give back to the community by creating volunteer opportunities for citizens of all ages.

For the month of May, Model Ambassadors Ellie and Natalie organized a fundraiser for Teach The World Foundation
They learned about this organization through a dear friend, and it goes right along the values of this group. Funds collected go towards making education accessible to young girls and children who not only have little to no opportunity to be educated, but are in real danger if they pursue trying to go to school.
“Here are the photos of our Inspiring Team Impact Team’s service project that we took today! Erica Land’s neighbor has a nonprofit called, So What Else. Today Natalie, Eva, Maddie and I dropped off the items at Erica’s. They needed baby products, wipes, and toilet trees so this is what we came up with!” - Ellie Regnell, Erica Land Photography & Maryland Inspiring Teens Impact Team
