    Nominate a Teen Who Inspires You
    Know a teen who is making a difference in their community, school, or family?
    Inspiring Teens Magazine highlights teens across the country who demonstrate leadership, character, and impact. Nominated teens may be invited to participate in the upcoming issue, where they have opportunities for scholarship awards, leadership recognition, expanded feature placement in the magazine, and even the cover.
    Inspiring Teens Magazine has awarded over $200,000 in scholarships and is currently celebrating 100 published issues.

    Before You Nominate
    Please make sure the teen and a parent or guardian know you plan to nominate them. This helps ensure the opportunity is a good fit before they receive their invitation.
    Here’s a simple way you might explain it: "I nominated you for Inspiring Teens Magazine, which highlights inspiring teens across the country. If you accept, you’ll have opportunities for publication, leadership recognition, and scholarships. The experience also includes a community-supported fundraiser where friends and family can vote to support scholarships for teens. Along the way, teens unlock bonuses and rewards that make the experience even more exciting. Each milestone gives participants something new to celebrate."
    Taking a moment to share this with the teen and a parent helps ensure the opportunity arrives at the right time.
    Teens always review the details with a parent before deciding whether to accept their nomination.

    A Leadership & Scholarship Opportunity
    Many teens use this experience to practice real-world leadership skills such as communication, goal setting, and community outreach.
    It’s similar to opportunities students gain through school fundraisers or programs like Girl Scouts selling cookies—experiences where teens learn to ask for support and represent something they care about. In our case, votes help fund scholarships awarded to inspiring teens across the country.

    What Happens After a Teen Is Nominated
    1️⃣ Submit the nomination form below
    The nomination takes less than a minute.
    2️⃣ The teen and parent receive an invitation after review
    The teen, their parent/guardian, and the nominator will receive an email explaining the opportunity.
    3️⃣ The teen chooses whether to accept
    If they decide it’s a good fit, they complete a short acceptance form with a parent.
    4️⃣ The teen joins the next available issue
    Once accepted, we send the timeline and details for when their voting page will go live.

    Why Teens Participate
    Teens who participate often gain experience in:
    • Leadership and goal setting
    • Communication and outreach
    • Community engagement
    • Scholarship fundraising
    • Sharing their story and accomplishments
    Many teens also include their Inspiring Teens Magazine experience on college applications, scholarship essays, and resumes.

    Nominate a Teen Below
    Most nominations come from parents, photographers, teachers, and coaches who want to celebrate teens making a difference. While teens can be nominated and published from around the world, scholarship awards are currently limited to U.S. residents due to fundraising and tax regulations.

It's unlike the other teen/senior feature magazines where it's all just about submitting images, and the amount of images submitted. The teens in Inspiring Teens Magazine are involved and interacting in the entire process, with interviews where you learn about the teens being featured, and why they are "inspiring teens". Overall, a lot of substance, and in my view, worth the $5 per vote donation they collect.

A bit about us – Inspiring Teens is an organization that runs teen leadership programs for teens across the globe out of our Philadelphia, PA, USA studio.
The magazine is one of our "by teens for teens" productions to celebrate teens doing amazing things with their lives – such as the teens listed below!
​Thank you for helping us help them out!
* Teens must be between ages 13-19 & live in the continental USA to win a scholarship. Teens cannot win more than $1,000 in a year's time. 
Teens can only be nominated/accept/be included in a contest 1 time within a 12 month window.
