What other inspiring qualities, achievements, or experiences about you, not mentioned in your nomination, would you like readers to know about?
I’m a dedicated and hardworking individual with a strong commitment to supporting others in their pursuits, particularly within the realm of athletics and community service. Currently involved with the unified track team, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages teamwork and personal growth.
In addition to athletic endeavors, I actively volunteer with animals, showcasing compassion and a commitment to animal welfare. My involvement in high school cheerleading, alongside coaching a competitive cheer team for younger athletes, reflects strong leadership skills and a passion for mentorship. I thrive in environments where I can contribute to the success of others, whether through sports, healthcare, or community engagement.

How has working with the unified track team shaped your understanding of inclusion and leadership?
Working with the unified track team has deepened my understanding of inclusion by highlighting the value of diverse abilities and fostering empathy. This experience has helped me grow as a compassionate leader, enabling me to adapt my approach to support all teammates effectively and stand out in my leadership role.

What have you learned from coaching younger athletes, and how has that influenced the way you lead?
Coaching younger athletes has taught me the importance of patience and calmness. This experience has influenced my leadership style, allowing me to foster a supportive environment where young athletes feel encouraged to grow and develop their skills.

In what ways has volunteering with animals impacted your compassion and perspective on care?
It has taught me the value of loving, selfless actions, and the importance of patience in building trust and understanding. This experience has deep into my empathy making me more tuned to the needs of others both animals and people alike.

What goals, dreams, or projects are you currently working toward right now?
My future college career and preparing adult life. I am aspiring to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) after high school, demonstrating a passion for healthcare and a desire to make a significant impact in patient care.

What inspired your interest in becoming a CRNA, and when did you first realize this was your path?
I have toggled between healthcare and law, but ultimately I love helping people! Who knows maybe eventually I’ll be in the legal side of healthcare if I decide to pursue law as well.

How are you preparing now to step into such a specialized and impactful role in healthcare? Working hard, leading in every way I can and continuing to have a good work ethic.

What could talk about for hours, and why does it matter so much to you?
Family; family serves as the cornerstone of my character and the epicentre of my universe. The bonds we share are treasures that I hold dear, reminding me of the value of time spent together. I recognize that life is unpredictable, and we are not always promised tomorrow; therefore, I strive to make the most of every moment with my loved ones.

This perspective fuels my passion for building meaningful relationships, supporting one another through challenges, and celebrating successes together. My commitment to family extends beyond personal ties; it shapes my interactions with others and informs my aspirations in both my professional and personal life. I believe that nurturing these connections enriches my journey and contributes to a fulfilling existence.

How has your family influenced the way you build relationships with others outside of your home?
Showing me how to build trust, showing me compassion and love.

How do you carry those family values into your leadership and daily life?
In my daily relationships and interactions with people.

What is something you have learned about yourself as a leader or influencer in the past year?
Hard Work and Sacrifice

• Making Sacrifices: You might need to give up certain comforts or leisure activities to focus on your goals, whether that’s studying for exams, training for a competition, or working extra hours.

• Delayed Gratification: The “good things” often refer to the benefits that come from hard work, such as achieving your dreams, gaining new skills, or building strong relationships. These rewards may not be immediate.

Can you share a moment when hard work and sacrifice truly paid off for you?
When I made high school cheer. I had not cheer the year before, typically if you don’t cheer the year before you don’t make it in high school. I worked really hard over that next year on myself, in all area and it paid off!

How do you stay motivated when the path toward your goals feels challenging or overwhelming?
I look at life with the half glass full, always!
Stay positive is what I’m really saying!

What does resilience look like in your day-to-day life?
When you feel defeated, look at it as a lesson and keep moving forward! Good things don’t always come easy!

How do you encourage others to keep going when they’re facing obstacles?
By being positive and giving inspiration.

What is one of your favorite memories with the person who nominated you, or something about them that means a lot to you?
I truly appreciate how Kim is always there for me! While I say “me,” she actually supports every girl she photographs. That means the world to me! It really reflects the kind of person she is and how deeply she cares about all of us.

Tell us about the person who took your photo — how did you connect, and what was that experience like?
She was incredibly sweet to me! My mom had suggested that I try modeling for Kim, and I initially hesitated, but Kim’s enthusiasm and encouragement made all the difference. Her positivity has truly helped me build my self-confidence even further.

How did you first hear about Inspiring Teens Magazine? Why does being part of Inspiring Teens Magazine matter to you?
My photographer. My experience with ITM has introduced me to a wonderful community. It fosters a sense of belonging, and I believe the positive outcomes will significantly benefit my college career!

How will winning a scholarship through Inspiring Teens Magazine help you?
It will provide financial support for my future college career and help relieve some of the college expenses I will have.

What was one moment during the first challenge that has made you feel proud or realize you were growing - in confidence, mindset, or taking action?
Having the courage to approach people I do not know.

Now that you have your interview for this second issue, which leaderboard level are you most looking forward to and why?
I’d love to hit icon! I like to win, and be successful.

Do it, you will not be disappointed in the opportunity.

Beyond votes or placements, what are you hoping to gain from this experience—and what would make you feel truly successful at the end?
Being about to get my image and self out in the public.

Is there anyone you'd like to thank for helping you get where you are today?
My mom has been a huge inspiration to me. She has shown me what loving myself looks like, shows me daily how hard work pays off and I’m truly blessed to have her in my life.

If you had nothing to do and all day to do it, where would we find you?
Reading in a peaceful setting.

What is up next for you that you are super excited about?
Starting my summer and new summer job as well as preparing for cheer for the next season.

What is the hardest thing you have ever accomplished, and how did you do it?
Forgiving someone who has hurt me for a long time. I had to just let the hurt go and focus on something good and positive.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to be where you are today?
Stay focused and consistent.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years/what are your plans?
Attending college, living on some animals and enjoying adulthood.

What is your favorite activity or pastime that was not in your nomination?
Reading, or spending time with my grandparents.

Do you have a hidden talent?
I am really funny, I have fun comebacks for a lot of things!
