Issue 101 of Inspiring Teens Magazine
Nomination: Kynzli Jo Prichard is a shining light to all who know her! She loves Jesus and is dedicated to furthering His kingdom.
What inspiring qualities or accomplishments weren’t highlighted in your nomination?
I would like to highlight that I am currently ranked the number two student of 807 students. I have earned Academic All-State honors while competing in both varsity cross country and track and field. Balancing a high level of academics with competitive athletics has required discipline and strong time management skills. I take pride not only in my achievements but also consistently giving my best effort with no excuses. These experiences have shaped me into an individual that has strong perseverance through circumstances and pushed me to strive for excellence in every aspect of my life.
What current goals and/or projects are you working on now?
The current goal I am pursuing is to further my education in hopes of becoming an orthodontist. I find so much joy in seeing others smile, and I want to bring light and confidence to as many individuals as possible in a cost effective and accessible way. Along with preparing academically for this career, I am currently working on the project of serving my community to combine both skill and compassion into my future profession.
What do you feel passionate about or could talk about forever?
I am most passionate about Jesus Christ and the way He can truly transform anyone’s life. I could forever talk about my personal testament of how good God is even when I have walked through divorce of my parents and devasting injuries. My faith shapes every aspect of my life, including the ways I serve, love, and find identity. I can confidently say that the Father will never leave or forsake me. I could talk about Jesus forever because I want others to experience the depth of love that I know by knowing Christ.
How did you find your photographer and what did you love most about the experience?
I found my photography through my high school when she was looking for senior representatives. I had already admired her work and postings on Instagram. While I also noticed that she had been recognized by several platforms, including Inspiring Teens Magazine, which made me even more confident in choosing her. What I loved most about my experience was how comfortable she made me feel in front of the camera. She guided me through every pose while still seeking my preferences and opinions.
What is a favorite memory with or thoughts of the person who nominated you?
Some of my favorite memories of my mom are seeing her in the stands at all my sporting events. No matter how busy life was, she always made an effort to show up and support me. During my parents’ divorce, she remained present and strong for me. My mom always checked up on me and reminded me that I was loved. Her support during this time of my life, showed me what true devotion can look like. My mom has always been someone I can rely on and she has played a very important role in my values.
Why do you want to be in Inspiring Teens Magazine?
I would desire to be in Inspiring Teens Magazine because it highlights students who are making a positive impact on their community and pursuing lifelong goals. I support the morals of the magazine, and I am confident that my efforts would not go unnoticed. I would be honored to represent my family, school, and values that remain important to me through this opportunity. Being featured would also allow me to inspire other teens to work hard, stay condiment, and pursue passions without fear, while choosing to show every stranger compassion.
If you win a scholarship, what will you do with the money?
If I win a scholarship, I will use the money to pay for my college education. My goal is to pursue higher education and eventually become an orthodontist. So financial support would allow me to focus on my studies without the burden of tuition and other expenses. Receiving this scholarship will not only affect my life at this moment but it would allow me to continue working hard and making the most of any opportunities I am given.
