Nomination: Ezinne Yvonne Alu Ogechukwu is an emerging innovative AI UX engineer, a front-end developer in training and a student-athlete. Traveling extensively across Qatar, the UK, the US, Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Ethiopia from a young age, her intercontinental experience directly shapes her global perspective. As a multi-talented creative artist recruited in Fashion Republic Magazine alongside her model siblings, she brings a dynamic artistic presence to her work as the founder of IPastelezi Productions and a media creator for AluPublishing. Ezinne leverages her technical certifications and 176 WPM typing speed to merge code, design, and performance into a universal language that empowers communities worldwide.

What first sparked your interest in combining technology with art and storytelling?

My passion began at seven years old, self-teaching drawing out of a pure love for art. By eight, I launched IPastelezi on YouTube to craft visual stories around global rhythms, later winning my township's 5th-grade art competition and exploring 3D animations. I realized digital media and code aren't separate, but tools to express emotion. While self-teaching built my foundation, I am still actively growing and refining my technical and artistic craft.

How has living in different countries shaped the way you connect with people through your work?

Traveling with my family, thanks to my mother, Dr. Mercy Alu, across Nigeria, Qatar, Armestadan, the US, Rwanda, Ethiopia and Ghana taught me to connect globally and embrace new ideas. This international perspective directly inspires my content. For instance, my TikTok short edit honoring the late Lucky Dube reached over 200,000 views, bringing diverse people together to celebrate his legacy. Experiencing different cultures firsthand taught me that art, music, and digital media are universal languages. I design every web interface and video module to transcend borders, build empathy, and unite global communities.

What other inspiring qualities, achievements, or experiences about you, not mentioned in your nomination, would you like readers to know about?

Beyond academics, I am deeply dedicated to visual storytelling, modeling, and performance arts. Featured in Fashion Republic Magazine alongside my siblings and inspired by Naomi Campbell’s runway discipline, I bring that same fierce work ethic to my creative pursuits. While winning poetry and art contests shaped my design foundation at IPastelezi Productions, I am still actively growing as a model and creative director. Financial support through this program will directly fund my professional portfolio expansion and resources, empowering me to fully elevate my career and inspire global audiences.

What is one of your favorite memories with the person who nominated you, or something about them that means a lot to you?

My nominator is my mother, Dr. Mercy Alu. What means most is how our creative journeys mirror each other. Starting her music career as a child, she grew up inspired by Yvonne Chaka Chaka, eventually winning the InterContinental Music Awards. Watching her build an international music career while earning a PhD and managing our home inspired me immensely. She showed me that creative passion is a lifelong calling. Her journey gave me the confidence to launch IPastelezi Productions and model, teaching me to view the world as a global village.

What accomplishment are you most proud of so far, and why does it stand out to you?

I am most proud of being awarded the WeTech scholarship to pursue and complete the Google IT Support Specialist Certificate program. Earning this sponsorship stands out deeply because working alongside an industry pioneer like Google validated my technical dedication and potential as a young woman in tech. Mastering core IT infrastructure and computational systems expanded my technical foundation beyond front-end design. It proved that I can excel in rigorous technical spaces, giving me the momentum and confidence to engineer complex digital systems and scale my platform, IPastelezi Productions, to serve a global community.

What goals, dreams, or projects are you currently working toward right now?

My primary focus is split between expanding my platforms, IPastelezi Productions and Aesthetics, as well as building my emerging modeling portfolio. With IPastelezi, I am constructing a digital ecosystem merging computer science with music, poetry, and cultural storytelling. Simultaneously, following my feature in Fashion Republic Magazine, I am working with creative mentors to continue growing my brand. Ultimately, my dream is to operate as a boundary-pushing creative director who bridges high-end aesthetics, advanced artificial intelligence engineering, and digital media to create human-centered connections globally.

What is your ideal dream job if it were offered to you today?

My ideal dream job would be serving as a Chief Creative Officer, Content Creator, and AI UX Engineer for a global media and technology house. In this role, I would direct fashion editorial campaigns, oversee interactive AI web platforms, and design accessible, human-centered digital interfaces. By then, I want IPastelezi Productions fully established as a powerhouse, mirroring the empowering influence of creators I look up to, like Tam Kaur. This role would synthesize my modeling direction, front-end software skills, and computer science background into one unified vision to inspire young women and elevate youth globally.

If you could collaborate with any artist, designer, or technology leader, who would it be and why?

I would love to collaborate with Dr. Michael Crawley. Meeting him at a local community college conference while I was still in high school deeply inspired my approach to leadership and interdisciplinary innovation. His insights on mentorship, education, and community engagement strongly resonate with my mission at IPastelezi Productions. A collaboration between us would bridge his academic leadership and guidance with my technical, creative, and front-end engineering frameworks. Together, we could design empowering digital initiatives and interactive educational tools that inspire young people to step boldly into leadership, cultivate their unique talents, and transform their communities.

How do you stay inspired when balancing so many different creative and technical pursuits?

I stay inspired through a commitment to continuous learning and a relentless drive to be better than I was yesterday. Rather than competing with others, my primary goal is pushing my own boundaries, whether that means learning a new coding framework or refining a video edit. Every skill I acquire feeds into another; computational logic deepens my artistic structure, while my creative storytelling breathes life into my code. Viewing every day as an opportunity to elevate my mind keeps my energy high, ensuring my passion across technology and the arts never runs dry.

What is something you have learned about yourself as a leader or influencer in the past year?

This past year, I learned that true leadership comes from matching raw belief with relentless resilience. While launching IPastelezi Productions, I briefly doubted whether a young creative coder could build a global space. I discovered that leadership isn't the absence of fear, but the courage to proceed anyway. Relying on athletic mental toughness and family discipline, I pushed past self-doubt to build a platform merging aesthetics with front-end code. An influencer’s greatest asset isn't perfection, but authentic determination that inspires others to trust their hands and own their stories.

What impact do you hope IPastelezi Productions will have on future generations of creators?

I hope IPastelezi Productions can inspire future creators to step up as bold leaders, embrace what makes them unique, and never fear being different. My vision is for the brand to show young innovators that they don't have to fit into a single box, they can freely bridge technology, fashion, and the arts. By weaving diverse stories, music, and interactive digital design together, I want IPastelezi to bring our global cultures closer. Ultimately, I hope to empower the next generation to use their authentic voices to build a more connected world filled with new hope, unity, and joy.

What advice would you give to another young person who dreams of pursuing both technology and the arts?

My biggest advice is to treat your multi-passionate nature as your greatest superpower, not a split focus. Never let anyone force you into a single box or tell you that code and artistic expression can’t co-exist. Use your technical skills as the scaffolding to bring your creative vision to life. Protect your curiosity, embrace the discipline of both fields, and remember, innovation doesn’t happen by following the crowd, it happens when you have the courage to merge different worlds, step boldly past self-doubt, and create something entirely your own.

What legacy do you hope to leave through your work as a creator, innovator, and leader?

Through my work, I want to leave a legacy that reminds people, no matter how difficult life gets, you already possess everything within you to succeed. I want IPastelezi Productions and my journey across tech, modeling, and performance to serve as living proof that your identity is unlimited. I hope to inspire future generations, especially young women and global creators, never to let anyone shut down the gifts, passions, or unique lights inside them. How did you first hear about Inspiring Teens Magazine? Why does being part of Inspiring Teens Magazine matter to you?

I discovered Inspiring Teens Magazine through an online search for progressive platforms celebrating youth who blur the lines between fields. Being part of it matters profoundly because it amplifies youth voices and validates my dual path as an upcoming model, emerging software engineer, and a growing media producer. It allows me to show young dreamers that they never have to choose between technical execution and artistic expression.

How will earning a scholarship through Inspiring Teens Magazine help you?

Earning this scholarship acts as a catalytic investment in my path as a software innovator and creative director. Academically, it directly supports my university tuition for a B.S. in Computer Science, helping me learn high-performance front-end developments and AI. Entrepreneurially, it provides leverage to scale IPastelezi Productions and expand my modeling portfolio. It bridges the gap between creative concepts and real-world deployment, enabling me to continue the journey of transforming code into accessible digital spaces worldwide.
