Texas Impact Team- Angie Read Photography

  • Hello!
I’m AnneMarie Dorr, a part of Angie Read Photography’s rep team, and I’m emailing you about our most recent service event! We set up the venue for the Kailee Mills fun run (for our local charity called the Kailee Mills Foundation) on Saturday, May 7th by helping fill cups with colored powder. The charity is all about seatbelt awareness and it was started after the passing of 16 year old Kailee Mills (who died in a car accident because she was not wearing a seatbelt). We wanted to support this local organization (she went to Klein Collins high school, which is where most of us go), so we got to set up the event! It was held at SCFL Gullo Park (1122 Pruitt Rd #1/2, The Woodlands, TX 77388). I’ve attached some photos from the event below. Thank you!

I'm Emily Duncan on Angie Reed's 2022 Senior Power Team! On September 18th I hosted the volunteer event. We made little breakfast goodies bags for senior citizens and partnered with Meals on Wheels. In these goodie bags we put an oatmeal packet, peanut butter crackers, raises, and breakfast bars. After the event we sent them to the drop off center for the bags to be delivered to the senior citizens!

“This morning, seven of the girls on my model team and I helped with a program called Help Beyond Bridges. It is a nonprofit organization that prepares food for the homeless, then goes out to the homeless in the Houston area to serve it and pray with the homeless people.

The girls and I helped by preparing the food and drink for the team that would then take it out to the streets for the homeless. It was a great time, and we all learned how to make a good shepherds pie.”

"I am Reese Richie from the Inspiring Teens IMPACT Team in partnership with Angie Read Power Team! We did a donation drop off today at Cy Hope. We got donations of clothes, games, and blankets. All the donations go towards helping Cy-Fair families. These items will be sorted and put into care packages for families. It was a great opportunity and we loved giving back to the community. We can not wait for more service opportunities!"

“For our first service project, our team got the opportunity to help Abandoned Animal Rescue by collecting and rolling newspapers as bedding for the cute pups they have there! We were very generously given a tour and got to hear all about the amazing volunteer-run shelter and the love they give their doggies! Pictured in this image from left to right are Emily Duncan, Brianna Jones, and Reese Richie. We loved this service project and cannot wait for more to come!” - Brianna Jones
