My name is Berlyn Sharp and I’m in issue 64 of Inspiring Teens Magazine. My gymnastic teammates joined me on a visit to Paramount House Assisted Living. We delivered roses, balloons, smiles, and most importantly a listening ear. I’m the Adopt a Grandparent youth ambassador, I love these residents with my whole heart. Yolanda wanted to take a picture saying “I love you” in sign language. She use to be an ASL teacher. The best part about today was when my teammate said to make sure I let them know the next time I visit so they can come along.

My name is Allie Mathis and I'll be featured in issue 64 of Inspiring Teen Magazine. I decided to help our high school baseball team clean up for season opener. We cleaned and painted locker room. Cleaned up field and bathrooms and painted light poles outside. Our community and school do a lot for us so what better way to give back than to help it look beautiful! I asked Eathen Sumner, Charlie Harbin, Coach Dennis and Colby Hall to help. It took 2 days to complete this project, but we had a great time. |
