The Nomination: Emma Topp is looked up to by so many teens across the world. She has 361 thousand subscribers on Youtube. Her channel took off after partnering with Semester at Sea. She is constantly creating new and creative content for her Youtube, Instagram, and TikTok to share with her audience. She is such a role model for teens and I see her platform growing so much more in the future and is most definitely someone to watch.

Issue 35 of Inspiring Teens Magazine

The Nomination: Martin is a hard-working young man who strives for his goals, all while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. He joined the marching band at Harlan High School as their trumpet section leader for three years and has made the All-Region Band 5A for two years. He has always been a wonderful mentor to underclassmen and upperclassmen while being a member of NHS, NEHS, and SNHS. He started a Mariachi Club, Los Halcones de Harlan, but he has been involved in other extracurricular activities such as Student Council, Bowling, Lacrosse, and the San Antonio Mariachi Academy. With countless hours of community service, he is set to start college this fall with a major in Biology and potentially a music degree. Martin finds his intent for doing these things through his desire of becoming his family’s first generation college graduate.

Issue 35 of Inspiring Teens Magazine

The Nomination: Over the past few years I have watched my daughter grow into a very courageous young lady. She has inspired students around her to spread positivity and become involved in random acts of kindness. She is involved with her church as well as getting individuals to join her in that as well. With all the events and incidents happening right now, somehow she was able to find a good thing during it all! Her teachers appreciated it a lot and it made a difference in their lives. Her aim is to reach as many teachers as possible. I cannot believe that she put herself out there like that without a second thought just to make someone else happy!
