As Ambassadors for Inspiring Teens, we get to interview some pretty cool people, and on this day some of the high school ambassadors got to interview two sorority sisters from West Chester University.
West Chester University is a college in West Chester, PA - which is a really cool town about an hour from our headquarters. We decided if we were going to drive that far, we should do a photo shoot and tour the campus a little.
We first went to some cool stationary trains on dead tracks (that could have something to do with the next issue.. spoiler alert - it's the Travel Issue!) and decided to start our photo shoot there.
Also, we did a little bit of wandering around the WCU campus to find a few hidden gems, like the whispering archway of the Phillips Memorial Building. So this is how it works; two friends stand at opposite sides of the arch and can whisper to each other through a small ridge in the arch without anyone passing by hearing what you said.
We wrapped it up with our interview with a sorority group to learn about how they managed their classwork along with sorority commitments such as volunteering. We also talked about the process of getting in to a sorority group (pledging). *The full interview will be in a second blog coming shortly!

Inspiring Teens Members do a fun group shoot at Belmar Beach
My favorite shoot yet! The girls and I bonded so much and had a stellar time. I cannot wait to make more memories like that!
- Ellie Kuhnle
We went to the beach! We had a lot of fun under the pier in the ocean air. We all took turns taking over the Snap Chat Behind the Scenes - Ellie took over with some filters. Some huge waves created sine wet clothes and a lot of laughter. I loved the laughs and the love.
We had an ice cream break and a Lively live stream on the way home. We had so much fun in Belmar I can't wait to see this fun group again!
- Larissa Chelius
My favorite part about the shoot was getting to hang out with an amazing group of girls and getting to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The big waves hurricane Jose brought was such an awesome surf, I've never seen anything like it. We had a lot of fun making silly, funny videos from our adventure at the beach to getting ice cream at Wegmans ! But the best part I think was just making fun memories with everyone that day! Thanks again to Leslie and the wonderful group of girls.

We went to Belmont beach and my favorite part of the trip was when everybody was getting splashed by the water while we were getting pictures taken! I loved our group because we all didn't know each other very well but we got along very well and fast!

I feel very fortunate to have my studio located in Warrington, PA to photograph Teen Portraits, because we are so blessed to have so many beautiful locations within a few minutes of our building!
Recently, I got the opportunity to photograph 5 teens as part of their programs for Inspiring Teens Magazine. We started at our studio in the Metropolitan Plaza Building with something that was important to them. Their items ranged from musical to sports!
We did these while they were all arriving and settling in, and then they got changed to move on to Valley Square. We had a lot of fun in this gorgeous shopping center! I loved the variety of looks that they wore for this!
Afterwards, we went to Kemper Park for their next set of teen portraits in Warrington, PA, which is technically in Warminster, but since it's on the same street as Warrington, we'll let that slide!
The girls had these things to say about their Teen Portraits in Warrington, PA photo shoot:
"What I liked best about the photo shoot was that everyone was so nice and supportive, especially when everyone was getting their photos done."
"I liked how I could see some of my friends during the shoot, and I thought it was fun to get in the creek."
"My favorite part was being able to get photos taken in/with items that meant a lot to me and being able to make so many memories with amazing people. I think they are a good bonding experience for us outside of the programs. I personally have become a lot closer with girls because of them."
"I loved laying in the creek. Dirty, but fun!" (This was Ellie's 3rd time getting her teen portraits taken at and near our Warrington, PA studio!)
So that's a wrap on our day of Teen Portraits in Warrington, PA!

From our Ambassador Olivia, who was one of the five girls photographed:
On August 17th, 2017 five teen girls from Inspiring Teens Magazine took part in a fun Teen Portraits photoshoot in Warrington, PA. They all fundraised 500 dollars or more so this was their reward.
They all started out at the Inspiring Teens studio in the Metropolitan Plaza Building. They came wearing an outfit that went along with something that is special to them. For example, a soccer jersey and a soccer ball.
They then all moved on to Valley Square a local outdoor shopping center where they were wearing a trendy and fashionable.
The last location they shot at was Kemper Park. For this location, the girls were wearing something summery. Some sat by the edge of the creek to take their photos, and some girls actually got in the creek. All of the photos were taken by Leslie Conway from Conway Productions Inc.
