Bucks County Gymnast Shares her Fashion Style in Issue one of iTi STYLE:My name is Peyton Young, and I am in 7th grade at Newtown Middle School. I am aso a gymnast. My style revolves around what I wear in the gym since I spend most of my free time there. I know I wear leotards in the gym, but outside of the gym I wear a lot of tshirts, sweatshirts and sweatpants with gymnastics logos on it. Since I go to all of these competitions, I have a lot of gymnastics merchandise and leotards that you are given for free or that you can purchase there. So, basically, my outfits represents me and my sport. You can also get a lot of these clothes at online stores like GK and Plum. You can see a lot of gymnasts wearing my style because they do my sport. I love my style because it shows who I am and it shows that I am a gymnast and that I really, really love gymnastics. It also makes me feel confident when I wear these clothes. This style is worn with or without makeup, and the hair is usually up in a ponytail or a messy bun. I have to wear this outfit at least 4 days a week, and for at least 3 hours each time, sometimes even longer. I also love that my style comes in a bunch of colors. It can be rainbow, black, or white, and really just about any color you can think of. I have about at least 30 leotards of different colors and designs. At this point I find it very comfortable since I am in it so often. It may not be for everyone, but it’s definitely for me!

My Style by Paige Ross | Issue One of iTi STYLE MagazineI would describe my style as comfortable, colorful, and trendy. I do not like to shop by brand names, rather I look in many different stores for items that interest me. Although, if I had to name my favorite stores, I would choose H&M, Hollister, and Target. Most importantly, I prefer my clothes to be comfortable. For example, I like Under Armour and Nike because they design clothes that are loose fitting. These brands offer t-shirts, sweatshirts, and shorts that are simple and are not covered in busy words and patterns. You would most likely find me wearing comfortable and casual clothes to school. I even get comfortable down to my feet by wearing slides, flip flops, and sneakers. Although I wear black and white every now and then, I prefer my clothes to be colorful. Some of my favorite colors include blue, pink, and purple. Wearing bright colors puts me in a good mood when it is raining or I am feeling tired. It is never a bad idea to mix and match colors, but I don’t get too crazy. I even make sure that my make-up has a pop of color to go with my outfit. When I think of trendy, I think of items that follow what is currently popular with a lot of people. Some trendy clothes that you can find in my closet are t-shirt dresses and anything that contains the brand names Pink, Hollister, or American Eagle. Accessorizing your outfits with a choker or a pair of sunglasses can also put you in the trendy category. Another trend that I like is putting my hair in a messy bun or giving my long hair some loose curls. My style is unique from others, mainly due to my petite frame. My size limits the selection of items from my mature style preferences and forces me to get creative to achieve the look that I desire. I have learned that it is still possible to get items that are comfortable, colorful, and trendy no matter what size you are. Morgan Young Shares Her STYLEI'm Morgan Young and I'm a junior at Council Rock High School North. When I was deciding about what style I wanted to choose for this photoshoot, I didn’t even need to think about what I wanted to do because I immediately knew this was the style for me! For my style, I chose a 50's themed look. This style has always stood out to me because I have always loved the look. I originally picked this era because I fell in love with rockabilly dresses. I saw pictures of them and I instantly knew this was the style for me! Although this style includes peter pan collared shirts and poodle skirts as well, I loved the idea of a classic and retro 50's look! I knew immediately that this was the style that I wanted to recreate, because I have always loved dressing up. Wearing this outfit made me feel confident and I feel like it fits my personality perfectly, because I can be outgoing and make a statement if I want to. Sometimes I’m convinced that I was born in the wrong era because I would have loved to dress like this all the time, because the look is so appealing to me. It would be a great experience to spend everyday getting dolled up like this on a daily basis, but sadly this style would take too long to recreate enough outfits. I don't dress like this everyday but if I could, I would, because the style is unique but very cute! I have always loved the style of this era ever since I’ve see it portrayed in movies or even TV shows, and especially from Grease. I know it's not what all of the women wore in this time period but it's special to me because it's my own take on the 50’s. This look is perfect if you like to dress up and be bold! Emma Dickinson, a designer and stylist, featured in Issue 1 of iTi STYLEI chose this dress because I designed and sewed it. I made it at my sewing class with Leia Barrett. Leia has been my sewing teacher for two years and has taught me to sew many fun pieces of clothing. I am very proud of this dress because I made it and it is an original that no one else has. I picked this fabric because the colors went great together. The main fabric is made up of blues, greens and light yellows. Those colors make up the flowers and other designs around the flowers. The neck line and hem of the dress are made up of a black and white zig zag pattern that contrasts with the body of the dress. The sleeves are made up of green and yellow fabric that tie on the shoulders. I chose a silver Eiffel tower necklace to accessorize the dress. I like it because it is just a plain silver chain with the Eiffel tower on the end. Half of the tower sparkles with tiny blue gemstones. The necklace is simple and is not a distraction from the dress. Now that the weather has gotten a bit cooler, I added a pair of white leggings and a pink cardigan. I picked the white leggings because if I chose a pattern it would not match the dress. I love how the cardigan has small holes so that you can still see the bright colors of the dress. My silver flats finish off the outfit. Bucks County Senior Cyrena Spafford Shares Her StyleIf there was one world to describe my style it would be eclectic. I have a mix of different styles depending on the different trends going on in today’s fashion world. I get a lot of my fashion inspirations from current celebrities, from pictures I may see in magazines or on social media. My favorite thing about creating an outfit is that I can make it and add a unique twist to it to make it my own. My style is mainly classic with a little bit of a modern day twists. I always seem to add the right amount of fun to an everyday outfit whether it would be a pair of old jeans or new ones. You can usually find me in something with a unique twist or surprise. My friends are totally used to it because they all know me as the fashion forward one. When it comes to picking out clothes I love to pick clothes right off the rack or right off the rack of a thrift shop. But the best thing about my style is that I can make it my own and be my own person. So if you’re someone like me who loves to add their own twist to their own style and is totally classic with a little bit of a fun to your everyday fashion, then I am totally your girl! My Fashion Style - By Brooke Young | Winter 2017 Issue My name is Brooke Young, and I am in 11th grade at Council Rock High School North. I would describe my style as sporty or even sporty casual. My style wasn't always like this, until the past few years about when I started high school. Growing up I always dressed a little sporty but my style has changed a little through the years. Ever since I started running spring track and field in 9th grade, I started to dress more sporty all the time. I didn't realize I was dressing more sporty outside of track and at first it was what seemed normal because that’s what I practiced in. Once I noticed and after awhile people had pointed out the way I was dressing, even though I hadn't noticed I found out my style! This is when my style started to stay in one style of clothes. I think my style is unique in the way that most of what I wear is from track and field even though some of my sporty clothes are not track based. I have a ton of shirts from different meets and a few invitationals I’ve ran in, and from the track clothing order so it's what I’m wearing most of the time! Wearing sporty clothes is a more comfortable style and not hard to buy clothes for. Most of these clothes are inexpensive, and are located in many different stores. Most of these clothes also aren't hard to find so it’s easier for me to add to my collection! Most sporting goods stores carry clothes that fit into this category, as do department stores too. There are times that I do try to wear some other clothing styles, but most of the time you will see me in sporty clothes!
