I chose this dress because I designed and sewed it. I made it at my sewing class with Leia Barrett. Leia has been my sewing teacher for two years and has taught me to sew many fun pieces of clothing. I am very proud of this dress because I made it and it is an original that no one else has.
I picked this fabric because the colors went great together. The main fabric is made up of blues, greens and light yellows. Those colors make up the flowers and other designs around the flowers. The neck line and hem of the dress are made up of a black and white zig zag pattern that contrasts with the body of the dress. The sleeves are made up of green and yellow fabric that tie on the shoulders.
I chose a silver Eiffel tower necklace to accessorize the dress. I like it because it is just a plain silver chain with the Eiffel tower on the end. Half of the tower sparkles with tiny blue gemstones. The necklace is simple and is not a distraction from the dress.
Now that the weather has gotten a bit cooler, I added a pair of white leggings and a pink cardigan. I picked the white leggings because if I chose a pattern it would not match the dress. I love how the cardigan has small holes so that you can still see the bright colors of the dress. My silver flats finish off the outfit.
