Annabelle Boylen – Ohio Nomination & Photography by Radalia Photography Issue 65 of Inspiring Teens Magazine
Nomination: Annabelle is the most unassuming beautiful young women I’ve ever met. She’s gorgeous but that is just a bonus to what a wonderful, sweet soul that she is. She is extremely goal oriented, giving, kind and passionate. Annabelle has actually met all of her graduating requirements , and she is working the other half of her school year. She’s a huge mental health advocate, honor roll student, life guard and pet sitter. You feel that she is wise beyond her years when you are with her.

1. Being the youngest out of four children, and having three older brothers, i always felt the need to keep up. my brothers and parents have always encouraged me to do the best that i can at everything. this made me want to pursue early graduation, as well as wanting to start my journey of nursing school early. 2. While others were enjoying their summer, i was focused on my schooling to ensure my early graduation. I knew i had to be strict within myself, and at times, especially in the summer, it was challenging to overcome those obstacles. i thought hard about what i wanted my senior year to look like, as i set this goal my freshman year, and it’s not to say this was not challenging. 3. Some days i balanced my work load well, while other days were tough. I recognized the days i was struggling, i was able to take time to reflect on my studies as well as my own mental health. i’m lucky enough to have the right people around that support me to get me through the most challenging days. 4. The friendships that i’ve made over the course of my high school career have been relationships that i’ll cherish forever. going into school and having that group of people surrounding me would get me through the toughest days. 5. Nursing school, I’ve always wanted to follow in my dads footsteps. 6. She was recommended to me by multiple people. after viewing her website we loved her photos, and creativity for each client. 7. I’m a naturally shy person, however, upon meeting her she made me feel more comfortable as the session went on. 8. There’s a lot of different personalities out there, although some can be challenging, it taught me to accept everyone how they are. 9. As far as i can remember, i’ve always loved swimming. i was a competitive swimmer growing up, and i’ve always loved helping people. lifeguarding was a way for me to express that. 10. Struggling with my own mental health, i’ve learned ways to help others in need after having my own struggles. having gone through anxiety and depression, it’s been easy for me to understand how people feel during these difficult situations. what i know now from this experience, mental health issues can effect anyone. 11. I’ve always had a love for animals. We had dogs, cats, and even a little squirrel named Clementine. the fact that i get paid to hangout with animals has been everything i can dream of. 12. I have so many great memories, but i always enjoyed teaching the dogs tricks and seeing the happiness on their owners face. 13. I’m determined to accomplish my goals. From the start of schooling, i had teachers who didn’t believe in me. this drove me to work harder than my classmates, as well as think about what career i wanted to pursue. while doubt can defeat others, i’ve used it as a motivator in my life.
