What inspiring things about you does your nomination not cover? I, Audrey Brown, am interning at the University of Massachusetts in the Biomedical Engineering department to help improve people’s lives.
What else would you like to talk about? I am a former gymnast. I was in the top 100 in the United States for beam in my level with a 9.875.
What do you feel passionate about or could talk about forever? I am passionate about autoimmune diseases and how taking a homeopathic approach may be better than Western medicine. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto Thyroiditis my freshman year of high school and was put on many pills to “help” treat it. These pills, however, made me feel worse and over time I found homeopathic remedies that worked better and helped put me into remission.
How did you find your photographer, Photography By Andrea? What was your experience like? What did you love most about it? My photographer is my mom. My experience was special for me as I was able to take my photos on the beach with my family. I loved that I could be myself and capture a memorable moment in my life.
