What inspired you to want to get into the stem field? I have always loved anything STEM related. I felt like joining the STEM club would give me the opportunity to excel in the technology field of study.
How do you balance all the clubs you are a part of and your schooling? Balancing the clubs and school is challenging I make myself a schedule and budget out my time accordingly.
What is it like working for the Bacon County Board of Education IT department? I absolute LOVE my job!! I get to work at all 4 schools. Daily I could do anything from replacing a keyboard on a Chromebook, hooking up computers or G2 boards for teachers to running internet cables in the ceilings of the school.

Tell me more about the TSA club you are an officer for. What do you do in this club? TSA stand for Technology Student Association. In this club I work with the advisor to live stream our local high school athletic games/matches (when I am not participating) for people to watch who can not attend. We also compete each year in Athens, Ga in a technology competition.
What are some goals that you have for your future? Why did you decide you wanted to pursue a career in networking? My future goal will include some sort of extra schooling. After graduation from High School/College, I will plan on doing one of two thing: 1 – Attend my local community college and obtain a second associates degree in networking to go along with my associates in computer science or 2 – finish getting my bachelor’s degree.
What is the hardest thing you’ve ever accomplished, and how did you do it? The hardest thing that I ever had to accomplish was probably becoming the person I am today. I am true to myself and others and that is all that matters.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be where you are today? The advice I would give someone who wants to be where I am today is to set your goals, work hard and never give up. It is not going to be easy, but if you want something bad enough you will do whatever it takes to achieve it!!

How do you keep yourself organized with everything you have on your plate? Keeping myself organized can be a challenge. I have a dry erase board that I like to write down what I need to do. 3 Things on your bucket list Going to Alaska Fishing in a major fishing tournament Building my own home
