Charity Beal – Indiana Nomination & Photography by Photography by Leslie ANN Issue 59 of Inspiring Teens Magazine
Nomination: Charity is one of the most joyful people I have had the pleasure of working with. She puts a smile on everyone's face! She is an exceptional teen, who is both beautiful inside and out. Charity is also an incredibly dedicated and hard working student athlete. She always gives 100% and she is a true leader. Her positive energy is contagious and inspiring to not only her teammates but to anyone around her!
What inspiring things about you does your nomination not cover? Something inspiring about me that was not mentioned in the nomination would be my perseverance through tough challenges. In 2020, I tore my left ACL and had reconstruction surgery on it. I was able to recover with a lot of hard work in physical therapy, as well as with my high school athletic trainer, to return to basketball even stronger than I was before.
What else would you most like to talk about? I would like to talk about how I am a leader in my school as well as on my basketball and track teams. I am heavily involved in my high school and am proud to represent Hamilton Southeastern!
If you were to present a topic to a group of your peers, what would it be and why? I am from Indiana and am passionate about Indycar racing. I even attend the Indianapolis 500 every year. It is something unique about me and I know quite a bit about it. I always follow along with the series and I could talk forever about it!
