Nomination: Dani is an outstanding person who not only balances cheerleading, soccer, and managing the school store she also speaks out about social justice issues and stands up for those who need a voice. Her electric smile will brighten your day. She is a wonderful young woman who has the potential to change the world.
What would you most like to be interviewed about? I would most like to be interviewed about the environmental impacts of technology and how our generation has the power to save the environment. I think you should know that I am very passionate about the environment and the current climate crisis. I want to find more sustainable ways to integrate architecture in the environment to create less waste and environmental harm.
What inspiring things about you does your nomination not cover? One inspiring thing my nomination does not cover is the volunteer work I perform in the community in collaboration with my schools national honor society and educators rising program. Through this society, I have been able to volunteer at an elementary school for years and go in early each week to assist a teacher. I have loved being able to help the kids learn and grow their knowledge of grammar, spelling, and math; whilst also creating a safe and comfortable classroom that fosters an amazing learning environment.
If you were to present a topic to a group of your peers, what would it be and why? I would present the topic of the current climate change crisis. I would choose this topic because I feel that is the most urgent matter that needs to be addressed in our nation and the whole world. The environment is what supports us and continues to foster life, and I want others to realize we cannot reverse the trauma we have caused it. I want to emphasize to as many people as I can that we need to start trying to heal the environment so human life and wildlife can continue to flourish.
