Ella Grace Schmidt – Tennessee Nomination by Denise Schmidt Photography by Photography by Michelle Issue 63 of Inspiring Teens Magazine
Nomination: Ella Grace has inspired so many lives. She is a leader on her cross-country team that’s she’s been on since 6th grade. She strives for perfection and works hard on everything she is given. She inspires her friends and family members to never give up on their dreams! She is one special senior and can’t wait to see what she accomplishes in college!
What inspiring things about you does your nomination not cover? I try my best to inspire people to work their hardest for what they want. I believe that if you try your best you can reach your dreams. I also try to inspire people to be kind to other people because you never know when someone is having a bad day! It’s inspiring to be positive rather than negative!
What else would you like to talk about? In November of 2022, I found out I have a micro tumor in my pituitary gland. I’ve had to overcome many obstacles to feel “normal” again. Overall, I never want anything to come in my way of my dreams for my future so this tumor will never stop me. I will keep pushing through no matter what happens and I’m so thankful to my family for always being here for me through this process.
If you were to present a topic to a group of your peers, what would it be? If I had to present a topic to my peers, it would be about kindness. The fact that there is not a lot of kindness in this world. If the world was more kind to people, I feel that many cases of depression would be lowered. In addition, the hate on social media makes everyone overthink or be self-conscious about what they post but if everyone was kind, people would feel confident in their own bodies!
