Hailey Jentz – Wisconsin Nomination & Photography by Candid Touch Photography & Design Issue 52 of Inspiring Teens Magazine
Nomination: Hailey Jentz is the definition of inspiring. She is a model student, athlete, community member, dedicated Christian that serves her community, and has been crowned the Wisconsin Junior Angus Queen. All her accomplishments but Hailey is still humble, down to earth, and always ready to lend a hand to anyone that needs help. She is a true rising star, and I couldn't be prouder to nominate her for Inspiring Teen.
What would you most like to be interviewed about? I would want to be interviewed about my passions, interests, and involvements. I am very passionate about showing cattle, gymnastics, and my family/friends. I am very involved within these assets of my life. I show cattle all around the USA and make lifelong connections when at shows. I have been a gymnast since I was 3. I grew up watching my cousins compete and have loved it ever since. I always make time to hang out with my friends and family. Giving them time and support is important in my life.
What inspiring things about you does your nomination not cover? I would like to add my various leadership roles to my nomination. I am currently the president of Belmont Student Council, Belmont FFA, Pleasant View 4-H Club, and the Wisconsin Junior Angus Association. I am also currently the Wisconsin Junior Angus Queen and Co-Captain of my gymnastics team. These leadership roles inspire me to not only push myself but to support others to be the best unit we can be. I have learned many valuable traits from these positions that will strengthen my future endeavors.
If you were to present a topic to a group of your peers, what would it be and why? This past semester I took a high school college course where I had to give a speech on mental health. Since that speech, I have been more aware about mental health. I would present this topic to my peers to bring awareness to an invisible issue that is rising. I try my hardest to make sure people know the resources that are available to them. Everyone matters and should have a voice.
