Hannah Fehlinger – Indiana Nomination and Photography by Klem Photography Issue 50 of Inspiring Teens Magazine
Nomination: Hannah is an inspiring teen because of all she has done for her community. She has won the Warrick County Cares Award, which is given to an individual who works hard for others and has a positive impact in their community. Hannah started her own outreach project to benefit the youth and families in her community. She began her own campaign and called it “Warm Hands, Happy Hearts" in which she collected items including hats, gloves, scarfs, diapers, bottles, and numerous other items for local foster children. Hannah also serves on her local church worship team and is a youth leader.
What else should we know about you? When I did these drives, the reasoning of my idea as well as the church/church camp that made me believe I could accomplish it, is what drove me to complete it and drove me to not give up in what I was doing or who I was doing it for.
What inspiring things about you does your nomination not cover? Alongside with the drives and awards, I am also in show choir and have a job working with kids and teaching them tumbling to push them to the best that they can be. I coach a tumble team at Newburgh Tumbling pushing them and I am also in NHS and Student Council.
If you were to present a topic to a group of your peers, what would it be and why? If I were to present a topic to a group of my peers, I would do it over foster care and why or how you can help them.
