Isabel Rosales – Texas Nomination & Photography by Contemporary Portraits. Vanessa Hendrickson Issue 50 of Inspiring Teens Magazine
Nomination: This senior is a sweet girl and a harder worker in school. She is the captain of the cheer team in school and cheers for a competitive team! She is a wonderful role model and would be very deserving of a scholarship.
Tell us about cheering? Cheering has been my passion since I was a little girl. It has taught me to be a leader and team player.
\What inspiring things about you does your nomination not cover? less) I have an older sister who I love and truly look up to. Sydelle is the one who encouraged me to cheer when I was younger. She always had fun cheering, going to school, working, and managed her time well while doing it all. In addition to school cheer, she also participated in competitive cheer. This all inspired me to be just like her. I have taken numerous AP classes throughout school because I enjoy challenges. This may sound like I have a lot on my plate, but I learned from the best how to manage it all.
If you were to present a topic to a group of your peers, what would it be on and why? The topic I would select is cheer because it's so near and dear to my heart. I'd speak about why I fell in love with the sport when I was just a little girl, how cheer motivates me to be a better person, and makes me strive for success.
