Kaitlyn Walls – Indiana Nomination & Photography by Moments In Time by Kimberly Krueger Issue 50 of Inspiring Teens Magazine
Nomination: Kaitlyn Walls is inspiring to me for all of her heart she brings to each shoot, she helps show love to all of the girls on my team in person and on socials. She not only comes to her shoots prepared and ready to give it her all but she will readily speak up and offer ideas as well. With a busy schedule of competitive cheer and high school cheer this young lady always wears a smile and is ready to be the hype girl.
What else should we definitely know about you? My name is Kaitlyn Walls and I am a competitive cheerleader as well as high school cheerleader. I am in 9th grade and am working toward my biology degree in addition to my high school studies. I would like to be a pediatric cardiologist when I graduate to be able to help children have longer, happier lives that may not be able to have this otherwise. In my free time, I love working with my local influencer group taking pictures and spending time with the other girls in my group. I also help with my church group, and love working with animals.
What other inspiring things about you does your nomination not cover? I love to spend time with my friends when I am not working on cheerleading or school work. I enjoy working with children and help out when possible with my local church Sunday School department. In addition to being a cardiologist, I would also like to own my own cheer gym when I am older and continue to help girls with competitive cheerleading, being a part of a great team, and feeling good about themselves.
If you were to present a topic to a group of your peers, what would it be and why? I love to talk about competitive cheerleading. I love cheerleading because it gives me a goal to strive to be my very best. I love the team atmosphere and how it takes every person on my team to be able to win a big competition. Because cheer is a dangerous sport, we all have to depend on each other and know that we have each other's back and will not let them fall. This helps in life when forming friendships and being considerate of others feelings. We do not want to let our friends and family down and it is my goal to always be uplifting and help others around me know that they are beautiful and can achieve anything they want in life if they work hard and stay focused on their end goal.
