Maddyn Woodard - Utah Nomination by Tiffany Philips Photography by Jamie Broderick Photography Issue 76 of Inspiring Teens Magazine
Nomination: Maddyn Woodard is an inspiration to all. She has the sweetest heart and is kind to everyone she meets. Maddyn is driven and motivated. She has been cheering in high school for the last 4 years with a ligament that does not hold her knee cap in place. It has been so painful but she refuses to get it fixed until cheer is over so she doesn’t let her team down. Maddyn plans on attending college to pursue a career in physical therapy. We are so proud of Maddyn and the women she has become.
What inspiring things about you does your nomination not cover? I believe that I am inspiring because if I set my mind to do something, I do it. It doesn’t matter if I’m hurt or not feeling well, I push myself to do what I’ve committed to so I do not let anyone down.
What else would you like to talk about? I would want to tell my little sister, who is six, that she can be anything she wants to be and that if you work hard and practice hard you can accomplish amazing things.
What do you feel passionate about or could talk about forever? I seriously feel like I could talk about Fiiz forever! It is our local soda shop that i frequently visit and can’t live without!
How did you find your photographer? What was your experience like? What did you love most about it? My photographer does a senior modeling program that you have to apply to and I was lucky to be selected. It was an amazing experience spending my senior year with her and meeting my modeling friends. I think the thing I loved most was the variety of shoots that’s she offered to us and the confidence I felt with her.
