What do you wish others knew about acting and modeling? I wish others knew how much work it takes to put into acting and modeling. It’s a lot of work just to do a simple self tape. For acting you have to make sure that your emotions are correct for the sentences your saying. For modeling you have to make sure that you walk is right and that you have good facial expressions.
What is a favorite memory from acting or modeling? My favorite memory was traveling to California to go to IPOP. (International Presentation of Performers) I was there for a week and I had a lot of fun doing auditions and performing for other people besides my family.
How did you find your photographer, Peter Mekellas? What was your experience like? What did you love most about it? We found Peter because I am a member of an acting and modeling Facebook page and he was on the recommended list for our area. My experience having my pictures done with Peter was fun. It was done right at his house so I was more comfortable and he was funny. We did all sorts of shots. We did some shots inside and out, standing and sitting and he made me laugh.

What is your favorite gifted and talented class this year and why? My favorite subject is math because I like to learn different techniques and challenge myself. For GT the year is still getting started so I’ve only done a couple ELA classes for it so far.
What is the most interesting thing you've learned so far this year? The most interesting thing I have learned this year is how to use microscopes. I’ve never used one until this year so it’s been different. We started to use them with observing cells and it’s been a cool experience.
What has been your favorite activity in the NJHS? In NJHS we haven’t had any time to do anything with it this year except for signing up for committees. I’m sure those will be my favorite activity based of what we’ve been told we will be doing.
What is your best leadership quality? I think my best leadership quality is motivation. I’m a better leader when I’m motivated to do it and when I really want something I’m good at working for it and helping others do the same.
What is one way you love to help your peers? I help my friends and family in many different ways every day. At home I help my mom by doing a couple of chores around the house for her. At school I help my friends sometimes with schoolwork and other times it’s as small as grabbing them a chair.

What genre of music do you love to sing the most? Do you have a go/to song and if so what is it? I like to listen to popular songs. I listen to that genre of music everyday on the radio and some of my favorite songs are on there. I don’t have just own favorite song there are a lot that I like and I can’t choose only one.
What is a favorite accomplishment from track or cross country? My favorite accomplishment for track was placing in the long jump. I don’t normally place for that event so it was a surprise to me. For cross country it was getting top 75 in one of the biggest meets of the year. We were against most of the teams that played so there were a lot of people running.
Tell us about your softball career. When did you get started and where are you with it now? I started playing t-ball when I was almost 4 then I went onto a baseball team for a couple years. When I older I pamper on a softball team and I kept playing until one year when I took a break. I was about 8 years old and that was a big mistake. I realized that softball was a sport that I wanted to keep playing so I started again. I am now on the school team and getting better everyday. This will be my 8th year playing and I love it.
What inspiring things about you does your nomination not cover? I love playing soccer, I play everyday. I've played on local teams for years, the last 3 years I've played on a travel team and traveled all over the state. This is the first year I am able to play for my school so I'm doing that too. I joined the cross country team 3 years ago and ran track this past Spring. I like keeping busy, it seems like I'm usually on more than one team at once.
What else would you like to talk about? Something else about me is that I really enjoy traveling. In the last 2 years I've been to 9 states. Some of my favorites are Florida, Nevada and California.

What do you feel passionate about or could talk about forever? Puppies!! My golden retrievers just had a litter of 6, three boys and three girls. We are going to keep one out of the litter but I would keep them all if I could
If you had nothing to do and all day to do it, where would we find you? If I could then all day I would be in my bed. I love to sleep it’s one of my favorite things especially since I get up early every morning.
What is up next for you that you are super excited about? I am super excited to do a photo shoot close to where I live for modeling. I haven’t done any that’s this close to my house at this age. It’s always exciting to do these because I can get new clothes and I like to see the final product.
