Tell us about the places you've lived. So far I've lived in six different places: Georgia, Germany, Mississippi, Colorado, Alabama, and Virginia. The longest place we lived in was Colorado at five years! The shortest has been Alabama and Virginia at two years, but I count Virginia as the shortest because the COVID lockdown took over an entire year.
What is the hardest part about switching schools? The hardest part about switching schools has been leaving my friends behind. I still like to keep in contact with them, I just don't get to see them face-to-face. Since I usually move toward the beginning of summer, I also have to go that whole summer staying at home.
What is the best part? The best part is making new friends. I have friends all over the world!
What will you miss most about this time in your life? Honestly, I will really miss moving because I've gotten to where, after a few years, I'm ready to move again.
Why did you choose Julia Kate Photography for your photographer? What was your experience like? What did you love most about it? Julia is one of my best friends and an aspiring young photographer. During our photoshoots we always have a good playlist going and she's always checking to make sure I'm comfortable. The vibes are never off in Julia's shoots.

Tell us about your artwork. We'd love to see a favorite piece! I took my first real art classes as electives in my freshman and sophomore years of high school (I'm currently a sophomore). I am a perfectionist so it's hard for me to back away from an artwork, but once I do, I am always amazed.
What are your favorite things to create art with and why? My favorite thing to create art with has always been paint. I love sketching it out and then watching the colors flow on the canvas. I am currently trying to figure out how to make textured paintings.

What are some of your favorite things to do with your friends? One of my favorite things to do with my friends is go roller skating. We all love to meet up at the Cavalier and hang out for a few hours. Most times we take a little break and grab some snacks at the concessions they have there.
How do you like to spend time with your siblings? My siblings and I really enjoy boardgames and our family loves to collect them. We have an entire closet designated just for them! We often have family game nights that consist of pizza and a good bit of our collection.
What is your favorite family memory? Over last fall break, my family and I went to New York City and saw the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! It was so cool and worth every minute. We stayed in New York for four days and went around the city going to all kinds of different places.
What is a family tradition you have that you hope never ends? One of our family traditions is going to get ice cream the Friday at the end of our first week back at school. It's just a little treat to set everyone off to a good start.

Which was your favorite Harry Potter movie and why? This is a hard question, but I think if I had to pick, I would choose The Goblet of Fire. I really just love the feel that I get from the movies and the whole idea of magic is just so fun.
What is the coolest thing you've learned about space? The coolest thing I've learned about space is that it's infinite. Now I know everyone knows this, but when you think about it, it's insane! There are so many other solar systems and galaxies out there. The possibilities are endless!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be where you are today? The quicker you learn to love yourself, the better off you'll be.
What is your favorite activity or pastime that was not in your nomination? I'm a bookworm but I can only read when I'm not exhausted. Therefore, I usually end up reading more during the summer.
