Nomination: Sheriden Wichman has maintained above a 4.0 GPA all 4 years, she is ranked top 10 % of her class at Washburn Rural High School. She is also actively involved in WR Student Council for 4 years National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, WR soccer team, Varsity Tennis Player all 4 years and City Champion in doubles her freshman year and City Champion in singles the last 2 years. Sheriden has been actively involved at Washburn Rural academically, athletically, and with school clubs, she closed to be a leader and role model in all. In her spare time, WR does have some tennis camps and soccer camps for the youth, she has volunteered her time to help younger athletes improve their skills and strengthen their love of the game. At home she actively helps her 2 siblings with their skills in soccer and tennis, she is a great role model for them on technique, hardworking, goal setting, good sportsmanship and instilling a love of the game.
What should we definitely know about you? I love playing tennis and taking pictures. I also love my family and dogs!
What inspiring things about you does your nomination not cover? I take rigorous classes and always work hard for my grades, and I have never had below a 4.0 GPA
If you were to present a topic to a group of your peers, what would it be on and why Honestly it would be about dogs and how different dogs are treated poorly because of their breed. Or about challenging people to get out and play unique or less played sports such as tennis.
